The Buddy System in an ALQical device used to pair up two particular characters for a certain portion of a chapter. This pairing could be the result of one user's current idleness (See Char and Korgen), the introduction of a character (see Dezeren and Aurelius), or a wall to bounce comments off of and/or flesh out your own character (see Brendan and Kathra).
